- My background includes several years of business development and over twenty-five years in the computer industry. During this time I havehad many articles explaining technology to the layperson published in various print and web magazines and journals. I had my first poems published at age 10 when his fifth grade teacher submitted two pieces that were accepted by a literary magazine. Since then I've written poetry off and on throughout my life, taking it up seriously in the summer of 2007. I began taking photos while in grade school with my first Brownie camera, given to me by my grandmother. As with my poetry, I prefer interesting takes on commonplace themes.
